  Grey College defeated St. Andrew's by eight wickets in the Twenty/20-final of the Free State at the OUTsurance Oval. St. Andrew's recently defeated Grey College for the first time in 18 years. Saints batted first and scored 115 runs in their alotted 20 overs thanks to opening batsman, Brett Hall's half century.
Grey Colleges reached the target with only a ball to spare after Pierre Marais (51) and Andries Gous (45) laid the foundation for the victory. Grey will now face the champions of the Northern Cape for the title of champions of the central franchise. The champion will represent the Eagles in the national schools' competition.
